Beaches-East York is my home. I have lived, worked and volunteered here for more than a decade. I am an active part of several local organizations working for the benefit of our communities, including the Beaches Lion’s Club, 100 Women Who Care Toronto East, the Beach Hill Neighbourhood Association and the federal and provincial Liberal associations.

I’m an inclusive, people-focused leader and trusted advisor working in the fields of social work, mediation and social justice program management. The Senior Advisor to Commissioner of Housing Equity (OCHE), I bring experience helping low-income tenants of Toronto’s largest social housing provider. As a part-time professor at Centennial College, I work hard to inspire students to pursue careers in community service.

With over more than 15 years in the social work field, I support non-profit and community agencies, many in East York. I advocate for marginalized communities and deliver crisis mediation for families in need.

Looking Forward

At this time last year, who could have imagined what the world would look like now? If 2025 has taught us anything, it is that we can never be sure what will happen next.

There are many changes on the horizon, economically, socially and politically. While nobody knows exactly what will happen, I know that we will have to work together to ensure that we all have the opportunities we need. I am committed to bringing my experience, passion and capabilities to helping our diverse communities.
