Canada is facing issues at the federal, provincial and local levels. As we look across Beaches East-York, across Ontario and across Canada, people fear

• Affordability - Can we afford our rents or mortgages? Can we afford transit? Are we able to afford an emergency?

• Jobs - If we have a job, how secure is it? If we don’t, can we ever find one?

• Housing - Every expert tells us that we need an immense number of new homes in Canada. And they are not being built.

• Our neighbours to the south - tariffs and threats continue to mount. These are forcing Canada to work to change its markets, a massive undertaking that impacts every Canadian.

  I am proud that Prime Minister Mark Carney and his team are taking every step to change our markets and to protect every Canadian. His mature, intelligent leadership is needed to fight the forces of chaos.

Here in Beaches East-York, we have so many wonderful people who participate, taking care of their families, of their neighbours, and of our communities. I am honoured to be a member of several active organizations that help with pride and hove fun doing so..
